Doon Heritage School Best CBSE School in Dehradun celebrates Teacher’s day on the 5th of September each year on the occasion of the birth of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was known as an amazing teacher of his time. Small function was organized in our school on this occasion for our beloved teachers. The teachers’ day function started at 9:00 a.m. morning. The function started when a small speech given by the Principal ( Mrs. Meenakshi Soti), where she explained the importance of teachers and how teachers are the builders of the nation. The function started with the lighting of a candle in front of Maa Saraswati’s idol who is known as a symbol of knowledge and peace. As every year’s ritual of students playing as their favorite teachers for a day. Our principal and all the teachers appreciated everybody’s performance. Teachers have always been so patient and advising, that is why we should always be thankful to them for their precious time. 

Students performed a scintillating cultural show to denote their love, respect, acknowledgment, and recognition of the hard work put in by the teachers toward their development. The cultural show incorporated poems, songs, dance, and drama. The School Management along with the children gave gifts as tokens of love to the teachers.
