Doon heritage School celebrated and embarked India’s 75th Independence Day

Doon heritage School celebrated and embarked India’s 75th Independence Day today. Chief guest of the day: Capt Rohit Soti, Chairman DHS and Guest of Honour: Mrs Meenakshi Soti, Principal, DHS hoisted the national flag and paid homage to all the great leaders and souls who laid down their lives for the freedom of the nation. The school heartily welcomed all the students from class 6 to 12 back to school.
The day was followed by speeches, skits and cultural programes. The Principal,DHS encouraged all by quoting ‘Leading with our past glories, it’s time to strive harder now, we Indian’s are known to rise from the scratch. 74 years ago, on this day India attained its freedom goals and after this long period today on this historic day we again will rise and come back to what this pandemic had taken away.’
she also added “I stand here feeling proud about our nation being lead by historic leaders and in present under the great leadership of Shri Narendra Modi, I have full faith on all the regulations and steps taken by the Indian Govt. this shall sure make India rise and shine again.” The celebration ended with the great zeal of patriotism and heroism with the song Vande Matram and Terri Mitti.
