Doon Heritage School celebrated “World Tourism Day” at the “Uttrakhand Adventure Fest” at Solitaire Farms, Malsi, Dehradun. Where they got golden opportunity to meet and interact with our Hon’ble Chief Minister, Utrakhand Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami , Shri Satpal Maharaj, Hon’ble Minister, Tourism & Irrigation, Uttrakhand and Shri Ganesh Joshi, Hon’ble Minister MSME, Uttrakhand. They also got the opportunity to explore various outdoor events and sports that has gradually being the centre of attraction for various tourist in Uttrakhand and know how young explorers are giving it a new direction for camping, bungee jumping, rock climbing, paragliding, water rafting, and many more. The students thoroughly enjoyed the fest along with teachers and showed gratitude to the Chairman DHS, Mr Rohit Soti for providing this wonderful day full of expedition and also to Principal DHS, Mrs Meenakshi Soti who is also an elite member of the FICCI Flo Uttrakhand Chapter, due to whom the students get platform to reach beyond their limits.
